The purpose of this solicitation notice is to acquire information from Contractors who have expertise and capability to build an Evidence Control and Storage Facility on a fast track basis. Detailed requirements and instructions will be provided through a formal solicitation. A formal solicitation has not yet been developed, however a solicitation is planned for release during fiscal year 2008.
A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008, 10:00 at 441 4TH Street, Washington DC (map), 11th Floor, Conference Room 1107 at 10:00 am and will consist of a briefing, followed by an open question and answer session. At the conference, the Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) will provide an overview of current issues, uses, capability, needs and constraints.
It is requested that interested parties submit no later than January 18, 2008, a response that includes, but is not limited to, a capability statement; questions; and recommendations for the solicitation.
